Narrator: The next morning Kayura and Legolas decided to leave the boundaries of Rivendell for a while and go on a nice picnic. But it didn't turn out so nice as the day wore on.

Kayura and Legolas are sitting on a picnic blanket together eating what they had packed for their lunch.

Kayura calls out to Legolas

Malachite gets ready to fire a beam of negative energy at Kayura

Malachite fires the Beam of negative energy at Kayura and watches amazement as Legolas jumps in front of Kayura and takes the hit.

Legolas lies hurt on the ground

Legolas: I am sorry I couldn't protect you Silma

Kayura: That is it malachite you hurt my love and for that you will pay!

Kayura picks Legolas up and moves him over to the side so that he is out of the way of any more harm.

Kayura detransforms and goes over to where she had placed Legolas

Kayura: are you all right my love?

Legolas tries to stand

Legolas: I could not protect you, he could have hurt you and I did nothing

Kayura: Legolas you did your best.

Legolas: and my best did nothing

Kayura: you saw the beam being aimed at me Jumped in front of me at risk to your own safety in order protect me not everyone would have done that.

Legolas: I did it because I would rather die than see you hurt

Kayura: you did it out of love. You loved me that much to risk your life to save me that was very brave.

Legolas: and I would do it again. All you need do is ask. My life is yours

Kayura smiles

Kayura: My love all I need to be happy is your love.

Legolas: and as long as you want me I will be by your side

Kayura: our love will last through the ages.
