More: Death Mask seems to be a pretty evil Saint, since he killed some many
innocent people and even his Gold Cloth resented him and left him during his battle with Shiryu. But it has been said that
all Gold Saints are 'good' people, some might seem evil because of their unique principles and viewpoints, for example, the
powerful rules, or power is decided by strength. These are not neccessarily wrong, only a bit twisted. So we can't say that
Death Mask or Aphrodite are evil Saints and are disqualified. Death Mask was killed by Shiryu in the Ares battle, but later
his body was temporarily revived by Hades so that he'd be able to kill Athena. He didn't succeed so he was thrown back to
Hell. Again here it's hard to say if he really is evil or if he was actually trying to help Athena and co. like Saga, Shura
and Camus did.
